New & Improved Kick Stand Feet

If you are riding a MADSEN you may have noticed the current k-stand feet pop off and don’t hold  up to a lot of urban use.  The current feet are an upgrade from the original feet from our factory, but still have not held up the way we wanted them to.  I have been looking for a foot that will last longer, stay on, and look good.  Working with John at Lamico Inc, we finally found what we think is a perfect k-stand foot.  Since 1964 Lamico has manufactured millions of crutches.  In talking with John I found out that they had the same problem with crutch tips that we do with our k-stand feet. The problem is the cheap rubber used in manufacturing the tips, so Lamico invested in their own injection molding factory and developed a PVC based crutch tip, which is superior to others in many ways. MADSEN Cycles can’t afford our an injection molding factory, we worked out a partnership with Lamico and they are making a dark grey PVC based tip for our k-stand (we couldn’t stand the standard flesh colored crutch tips).  We have been testing these feet for a while and they don’t wear out or pop off - they're great!  We have already started sending out new MADSEN bikes with these improved k-stand feet.  And since they are so much better than the old ones we also want every one that has a MADSEN to be using the new feet.  Contact us directly and we will ship them right out to you free of charge.
